Under Construction

We are having a bathroom renovated before we sell our house, so things are torn up around here. I will be (or at least I hope I will be) glad when it's finished!!

I apologize for the lack of updates lately. I am feeling very unsettled and it is hard to congeal my thoughts into coherent posts. I feel like we are living in limbo- we know that we are moving, but we haven't nailed down the specific dates, neighborhoods, schools, etc. In addition, we're trying to get our house ready to sell. I know I've said it before, but I really miss having our families close by during times like these. Don't get me wrong- I'm just going with the flow and not getting too stressed about it. I've had moments, but I'm too busy to worry too much!!

Mollie doesn't seem to mind everything that's going on- bathroom reno, potty training Lucy, and numerous other projects and tasks. She is full of energy and creativity. She is eating well. She has shot up like a beanstalk so I'm glad it is spring and she can wear shorts and skirts- her pants are certainly too short to wear.
She does have a cough (so does Liam). A cold? Or allergies. Or both. It is not very severe and she seems to be fighting it off just fine.

I can't convey how thankful I am for these days. Just normal [busy] days punctuated by pills at night and the occasional clinic visit. I am so glad to be concerned about home renovations and meal planning instead of hospital procedures, blood counts, and fevers.

  1. Sarah...
I don't know how you are keeping it together! I am thinking of all of you during your renovation. I am glad that everyone is doing well. William has a cough too! Allergies? Maybe. Isn't it great trying to figure it all out? Kiss your babies for me. I miss you guys. I wish that you were moving THIS way.

  2. Mollie, I'm so happy that you are well. Sarah & Matt, you are as tough & strong as Mollie. I'll do whatever I can to help you.

  3. Home renos and meal planning sound like wonderful things to be worried about (for a change).

  4. Sarah, I am in awe! Rennovations are challenging--not to mention dust producing. Moving is a stress. Add in all the uncertainties that you mentioned, and top it off with those ever lurking concerns about your kids...I am in awe. Mollie is as strong as she is, bcause you set such an example. Nicola is off the grid for a few days--visiting her grandmother with the children. So I am sending hugs and l9ove from both of us.
